Service Policies

  • LABOR CHARGES: All repairs are billed out at a shop rate of $90 per residential hour or $100 per commercial hour.

  • PREPAID LABOR CHARGE: All units are subject to a non-refundable, non-transferable labor charge taken at time of drop-off/scheduled pickup. Work will not be started until the labor charge is received. The labor charge will be applied to the customer’s repair invoice or used as an estimate fee if the customer declines the repair for any reason. Charges vary by equipment type.

  • AUTHORIZATION OF REPAIRS: Repair work requiring an investment in excess of $150 on push mowers (or sized equipment), $250 for riders $100 for handheld 2-cycle, or $400 for commercial units shall not be completed until authorization is obtained. We will not call if the investment is under these amounts unless specified by the customer.

  • SERVICE WARRANTY: We warranty all labor and parts replaced by Arco Lawn for a period of 30 days. All machines in for service from December 1st through March 31st will have a warranty through April 30th of that year on work performed as long as the requested service included winterization.

  • UNCOLLECTED EQUIPMENT: Units that are left for 30 days from notice of estimate, completion, or repair will be considered abandoned and shall be disposed or shall be charged an extended storage fee of $1.00 per day if the unit is still available.

  • BENCH DATE: Your Estimated Bench Date is the date we anticipate starting to service your equipment. Completion of your unit may be delayed for a number of reasons including, but not limited to: needing to contact you with an estimate, having to order parts that are temporarily out of stock, or waiting for parts to arrive. When the service on your equipment has been completed we will attempt to notify you by email and/or phone.

  • COMMERCIAL RUSH STATUS: Inform us if you feel your situation requires an emergency “Commercial Rush” status. Our full-time Commercial Service Technician charges $100 per hour and will look at your machine within 24 hours of drop off. Completion of the unit will be based on parts availability and customer’s response to our phone call.

  • PICKUP & DELIVERY: Arco Lawn will do it’s best to pick up & leave units where the customer requests but we will not be held responsible for any damage to the units or loss of units because of location. We will contact you by phone to arrange a convenient delivery date for equipment that is ready to be delivered.

  • ATTACHMENTS: Arco Lawn requires all attachments (including chainsaw cases) to be removed from the equipment when dropped off for service. We are not responsible for any attachments left on the premises. If your unit is being picked up, removal of all attachments must be done prior to pickup. If this is not completed prior to the scheduled pickup, the driver will remove the attachments but is not responsible for reinstallation or care thereafter of the attachments.
